Man barely knowing any Kanji is killing me, I really need to start studying on my own from scratch at this point, I had two semesters of Japanese a few years ago at college but both courses only covered hiragana and katakana throughout and while my brain is starting to translate hiragana quicker I barely remember katakana at all from the second course since it got caught up in the lockdown shit and I lost all motivation studying with having to go online for classes :(

I don't necessarily think that she's lazy, but I do think that she's honestly a little bit shy and burned out from being the largest Vtuber.
I really do think that somebody else were to claim the title for her she'd probably stream a little bit more but I mean as I've said before, if you look at like what she actually has to offer, it's not exactly like she's the world's best anything. It's not to say that she's a bad hire, but outside of her voice she's an okay singer, she's not really a performer or a dancer or really anything unique she's got a loli voice and a loli model.
I think she knows this, I think that's why she has a bit of imposter syndrome when it comes to being the world's largest vtuber and I think that's what prevents her from streaming and making more unique projects.

They're not going to let her do anything. She's just their mascot now. People think she hates streaming, but the truth is she's just being completely locked down by management until they need to open her cage.
It's unfortunate, but the reappearance of her PL a while back probably just escalated things further and made them put an even tighter grip on her. She's got a lot of money, yes, but she's also made Cover a lot more money, and they're not going to risk losing their cash cow for anything.

I think you're coping. Holo's who want to make music do so, and looking at things like Treasure Box or Everblue, Cover has plenty of leniency on the topics. The only thing stopping anyone from making whatever song they want is putting in the time, effort, and money.
