Word count looks to be around 336,000 so far. I didn't check the page count right now since that will take a lot of opening and closing of each chapter and with the formatting and amount of dialogue there is, the page count is almost a cheat stat at this point. The more characters that are talking and the more back and forth there is, the more the page count will blow up. Considering the last few chapters averaged around 40 pages each, it's all easily over 200 on this point I think. It's wild to think about that when I first started this, I had no expectation that it would end up coming this far, but every new chapter and paragraph I write, makes me so thankful that it did. I just wanna say thanks to the anons who helped inspired me to do this and put my all into it.

I went back a while ago and did a soft rewrite of chapters 1-3 actually. Just going back to the starting chapters alone made me cringe at how clunky and rough it all was compared to what I was currently capable of writing. I'll admit that if I go back and read chapters 4-7, I could see a couple places that could benefit from my more experienced hand giving it a touch up, but they aren't nearly as bad as chapters 1-3 were. Overall, I'm pretty confident to say I've improved significantly from the start, and heard it directly from a few people as well. I'm gonna keep trying to get better too.

I’m working on a small smut-ish thing with Fujikura Uruka from phase connect, a reader-insert story
And I had an idea for an AU story called Hololive High a while ago, where all the Holos were in an American boarding high school and separated into four cliques/gangs with various holomems as the leaders (I think Pekora was the leader of one, Gura another, one was Okayu, and I forget the fourth), and the story would follow Sora, the new girl, finding out that the division and enmity between everyone was all all the result of a darker force channeling itself through someone who didn’t even know she was being controlled (the perfect cover).

If the idea of the story is this "fish out of water/shes out of my league" concept then I think "what" she sees in you would be normal and mundane things, or that she simply enjoys being with you, and there's nothing in particular.
As for tone, comedy/fluff with a serious moment at the climax and end with a happy end. Standard stuff.

Or you can really lean into the comedy and have (You) end up not really knowing but accepting it. You can have scenes like:
