They could certainly negotiate better terms with Youtube since Twitch allows that, and Youtube wants to remain competitive. Youtube takes 30% of all of that which means 260k from SCs and 14-17k a month from Members, and then that's also before taxes and Cover's cut. Assuming Cover splits the remainder 50/50, then Fauna has made 130k in SCs and gets $7-9K a month from memberships. Even with the best case scenario that literally every one of those 5k members is a day 1 member and paying $5 USD that's $153k since she opened memberships. I'm just a nostalgic person in general, I'm always reminiscing, its kind of a bad habit- well I don't know its just the way I am.
I always look back fondly on things, and them I'm like oooh things were so good back then, but its like- things are also good now, and I know I'm going to look back at these times also extremely fondly, with tons of nostalgia.
It's just like I feel like I'm always thinking back on things- and being like "ooh things were so good back then"
Even right now I know in the future I'm gonna look back and be "things were so good back then" and its not like things are getting worse either, its just I dunno- its easy to be nostalgic about the past, maybe its hard to appreciate the present, but I am very appreciative
I guess nostalgia just adds another layer, I think its because you're removed from the situation, so you don't have to feel any of the negatives, because there will always be negatives, no matter when or where you are, but when you're removed from the situation its easier to forget about them maybe. Even when I look back, I had problems back then too, there's always gonna be something.
