I've had various Western Digital externals over the years that have served me well (1TB, 2, TB, 3TB), though the 2 TB one does make a strange clicking sound when it reaches max capacity and I don't really trust it. HDD: avoid externals since those are mediocre shingled laptop drives, get desktop NAS or surveillance drives. Though if you just plan to archive long streams, anything will work, just look for something with a long warranty (shows how much the company itself trusts the drive) and don't do things that void it (like shucking an external drive). If you still have the link and it's still alive on 4chan (hasn't 404ed), you could download the entire page and then populate it with data from the archive. Firefox, for example, lets you right click save as on a page to download its HTML, JS, and CSS, which in this case would include the youtube link the mods embedded and the background. You can shorten that to just "yt-dlp -f b" and it will default to highest quality audio and video. You only need to concern yourself with using the full command prompt for the audio and video streams if you are intent on DLing anything other than the default highest quality.
