That the ranked changes made it hard to gauge a players actual skill level without factoring in which season they made the rank, which can suck for players if they're not "up to date" with the rank they're assigned in the tournament. I think the longer it goes on the weirder it's going to get, since right now a former masters player of season 12 is just a diamond 4 in the newest system.
If Axel is an 8 point and he's more of a 6 in skill level that could suck for him when he's trying to pick a team. I don't watch the guy but I'd thought I'd heard he needed to get a full team to reach masters, which means he might be even lower, which would suck even harder for the dude.
