If Mio didn't say that she just went to DisneySea with Risu, Korone, and Zeta no one would ever know that Risu is currently in Japan right now.

In nutshell, girls can act super friendly and loveydovey with each other because it looks cute, but as the name implies, it's just goofing around so no serious feelings or commitment involved, which frees them from repercussion since being actually gay is super taboo and frowned upon because IDs conservative culture, especially for youngster. Heck, this kind of goofing around of being in relationship is probably caused by conservatism pushing them to think of having family in the future, hence they simulate making a family with their friends.

This is why you see holoID girls have this "share/collect wives" thing, because it's most likely how they were having fun among themself when they were young. In nutshell they act gay without actually being gay for the sake of fun.
