also remember that was back in the early times when the rest of Myth were still more autistic stick-in-the-muds (arguably they still are, but at least in certain smaller pairings they can vibe more naturally now) whose reservations made every big collab an awkward mess uphill battle where Kiara was often the only one trying to bring some enthusiasm and entertainment beyond the girls just boredly mumbling at each other.

Did she "overcompensate" at times? Maybe, but she wouldn't have to carry so much if the others had put in some work as well, but too often they were just happy to sit passively in the background (making Kiara have to do some banter and jokes to try to engage them, and not everything landed) or worse even sandbagged any attempt at entertainment thown their way (the uno collab and others had batsu games for example, and Kiara was often the only one who actually played along, while the others were still in "ugh... this is so cringe...I'm too cool for this shit" mode).

It has gotten a bit better now that they are all more attuned to each others vibes. The others have gotten more relaxed and came out of their shell a bit, and Kiara doesn't have to hard carry Myth collabs alone so much when she has more people in the group who also contribute banter of their own (mostly Mori nowadays, who has gotten over her 1.0 le grumpy tired reaper mode, and is usually the second or even first most talkative person in Myth collabs now).
But you still won't get absolute chaoskino out of them like in Kiara's ID collab, they're still to stiff for that.

it was ogey, not the best not the worst. Also remember that some random jap writer is responsible for the scenario and script, it's not Kiara's fault that she was handed a meh episode by them. The voice acting job she did was pretty good, all things considered, her performance was emotive and had less of that "total amateur just robotically reads off a script they were given 5 minutes ago" feeling you get from actual bad examples (umisea...ina...).
There's an argument to be had as to why Cover didn't just let her speak japanese like the rest of the talents in the skit, but oh well, going there you could also ask why Cover doesn't simply just put in the effort to actually produce a proper EN Hologra spinoff for the branch instead (because yeah I know, that'd actually take some effort and haha unimportant side branch etc...)

I don't think it gets any "hype", it's basically just a 1-2 minute freebie of disposable brainless entertainment every week.

The characters in the show have little to do with how they actually behave on stream and are just puppets for whatever wacky lolsorandumb scenario the writers want to put them in this week. Often it's also very "japanesey" with its focus on manzai, boke-tsukkomi routine tropes, juvenile slapstick humor or some inscrutable japanese wordplay pun that doesn't translate well or at all to the rest of the world (and the subs insert their own retarded "localization" jokes on top to try to make sense of it).

It's nice that Kiara and the rest of EN will now have the opportunity to be featured (but don't expect much, 90% of the time it's basically just the same dozen core JP members who always appear), but if you treat it with any bigger expectations than just being an avenue to get some funny reaction face screenshots out of it, you're going to get disappointed.

Actually that brought new problems in: Mori 2.0 goes to the next level and she's unironically yesmanning Kiara at every prompt she throws out and they can continue a conversation without the rest of Myth butting in, whereas before the precentages were more balanced.
Also Kiara still has the authority in their dynamics, like today in Mori's 3D where while Kiara was resting her voice, most of the conversation was just giggling endlessly about meaningless stuff (mainly Ina's shenaningas, she really stepped up ever since she came back from her hiatus and being in person also helps), when Kiara started to speak, everybody went quiet and the conversation started anew.
