You must be comparing their raw numbers with Hololive. If you throw away the number factor, they looks like the most successful agency in ID with all the projects that they had.

There are more numbers behind the screen that we would never know about. Like the living cost, how much cut do the agency take, how much investments that they received, etc.

It depends on the agency. For Hololive ID, looks like they doesn't care about their market presence so they choose the instant method of pandering to EN viewers to get that sweet red SC.

For agency like Maha5, they're forbidden to speak more English because the agency's aim is to get more market presence and get more local sponsorships. Basically like Hololive in their own JP market.

Imo their strong point is they pro-active & have their own connections without relying main branch

They have their own official short animation, clipper, webtoon that updated every week, they scouted & recruited fan for that.

They also have regular monthly news show & special show on special occasions. In ramadhan they hosted parody of TV variety show everyday for a month. In new year, Indonesian independence day, etc they also hosting some kind of show.

They have enough connections to hire big music composer like redshift, mardial & heakim to make original song. They also hire local Illustrator for VoV and Gen 5 & Gen 6 (one of gen 6 is skadi sister)

Just by looking at playboard, Hana who is by all means their most famous vtuber has numbers equivalent or worse to what Iofi is bringin in SC wise. She is lower in viewer numbers. Iofi and Risu are about the same views and SCs wise. They are the bottom 2. Surprisingly Anya beats them by viewership numbers and SCs overall if you consider that she's been doing this for less than 6 months. Her SC is $29k while Risu and Iofi are both are up to $38k. Hana has a total of $29k. Sure streamlabs is different but the viewership numbers doesn't lie. Sure NijiID gets promotions but HoloID is actually getting their own promotions as well ever since HoloID2 entered the picture. I'm looking at 2 NijiID that is live right now and they both have about less 80 viewers. It's either they are doing all.of these projects at a loss or the talents themselves are chipping in a lot to cover the cost.

Well niji & holo have different backgrounds anon. Holo exploded in overseas meanwhile Niji big in JP. Its natural that Holo become more aware of overseas viewer & talent too. Heck niji is too big, let alone with overseas branch, interact with all JP member is just impossible.
When they have smaller number actually they interact a lot anon. Mayuyu often interact with VR & ID 1. Cia & Debi come to each other stream and even collab. VR, IN, KR & ID is really close & interact everyday in early MC World.
