Your first opponent will be /nijiEN/, kind of a middle-of-the-road team but they did decent enough last league. Then it's /ggg/ who kinda suck but in PES you shouldn't underestimate anyone. Then the last group stage match is against the reigning champions /tsunx/ which will obviously be a touch opponent.
So basically you'll want to win against /nijiEN/ and /ggg/, that way you'll have a lot of breathing room and could even afford to lose that last match.

Steady improvement. They were ass in their debut and made the KOs in 3. Still very beatable. They're not a high firepower offense and their keeper has been questionable at times.

Among new teams for VTL3 only /#/ finished worse. Their group had the eventual 3rd and 7th place finishers in it, but they ended with the second worst goal difference in the league and looked bad doing it. We'll know more after they play /XtsunX/, but I expect a huge improvement simply because they've got nowhere to go but up at this point.
I expect this group to be tight. There's no clear favorite which means it's primed to be taken over by a newcomer on a hot start. 6 of the 8 groups in VTL3 were topped by debutants.

not too much in terms of storylines in group D from /lig/'s perspective, I guess there's some liggers that get posted in /vrt/ along with Kiki so maybe there's a connection there or we could go for the heel angle and shut out the 2view or something, and Bae's friends with Miori who's technically a ligger but she's only posted in /tsunX/ or I guess we could go for the corpo vs Indies angle but I feel like that doesn't work as well against an individual corpo chuuba thread, and /lig/ has never established itself in /vtwbg/, but I guess we did beat them in friendlies so maybe this could be the runback for them.

each team's tactics are different, team managers can either try to get hyper efficient (which i'm told creates very quick burnout) or they can try to use simpler tactics.

Another 2view also commentated once, ariarinchan. Koopa has also done some promos specifically for the league.
When Lumi did it she wasn't expecting the levels of yab your average 4chan league has (main sitewide league has teams like /pol/ after all).
VTL is quite tame in comparison, but you'd have to be used to 4chan to be able to commentate fine. Someone like Kirsche for example might do it well.

I think Lumi did very well in the /vt/ League commentary, the Vei impression was hilarious (though it's now awkward-feeling ever since she got her new model). But yeah, commentating on the sitewide League wasn't a good idea.
Ariarinchan was definitely better than most other co-commentators, and it's nice to have actual vtubers commentate. Koopa would be fun as well.

Yeah and I understand that it's difficult to trust someone that is functionally anonymous and has no reputation to concern themselves with when you're someone that does. For anyone that's interested in commentating there is a sizeable catalog of VTL matchdays at this point that you can watch and get a good idea of what being in the booth for a match is like.
