Ok I got some sugar and water into my body, now I feel much better.
This is the closest crop top to OG material the AI has given me with the cooking while I was afk.
Also it has generated a few visible panties which due to see-through skirt, kek. I never specified any panties to begin with, so even the AI's creative freedom thinks that spats(the censorship ones) on holos look shitty. Floating point 16, or half precision from single precision, FP32. Usually all your calculations are made at FP32 in order to be as precise as possible, but larger precision = larger file size. SD doesnt really need to be >that< precise. So you can convert your models from FP32 to FP16 to make them half as small and just as accurate. Most modern graphics card have 1:1 performance ratio between FP16 and FP32, some older cards can have 2:1 ratio and run FP16 twice as fast. And even older cards have 1:64 ratio, that means they run calculations 1/64th as slow.

Early epochs = May not have fully learned the concept yet

Late epochs = May have learned the concept so well they can't do anything else (including learning things you didn't mean like composition or backgrounds common in your training set)

Just make some X/Y grids comparing the different epochs when you're done and you'll probably notice it. Just keep in mind the final one is not necessarily the best

It looks like another Anon has already answered you, but yeah, the answer is "precision". One thing though - the GPUs we use in Colab? Automatically use "half" - that means half precision, or fp16 - to save RAM, and run faster. They do that on the fly. So loading an fp32 the 4 GB ones model into Colab is just wasting time while that extra 2 GB downloads because webui uses "autocast" and tosses that shit out anyways.

There is a flipside to that though! Running on CPU, like my dumb ass was for quite some time? You have to use "--precision full --no-half". Pretty sure you have to use "--precision full --no-half" on AMD GPUs ROCm on Linux, and on those older nVIDIA GPUs where, like that Anon mentioned, FP16 performance is actually 64 times slower than FP32.

I think there are better alternatives to "--no-half" - like "--upcast-sampling" - which does the same thing, but while using less RAM and being faster, according to the documentation. There are others that I think might help in that scenario too: "--opt-sub-quad-attention" Only thing I'm not sure about is, that if you're using something like a GTX 1080, where you probably should be using "--precision full" all the time ???, do you still get the same output and performance by using "--precision full" with an FP32 model as you would by using the FP16 model with "--precision full --upcast-sampling" or "--precision full --no-half"? Or is there a penalty - or a difference in output.

I have no GPU, so while I DID go ahead and delete any >4 GB models on the HF because those just have useless EMA weights in them - EMA = not used during image gen whatsoever - I did keep those fp32 models until I know the answer to that for sure.

ENSD only matters for Ancestral samplers - samplers with "a" in the name. Euler a. DPM[any variant] 2s a. Not sure if there are any other ancestral samplers. It does matter, setting it to a different value when using one will give you a different image entirely as it progresses in steps.

How would one go and train a lora for a vtuber who has very little available material for training? You can see here on my royal icing lora even with it going through a 180 something dataset 5 times over it still didnt catch on in the first 1-3 epochs. I used 1e-5 LR. Epoch 4 is maybe perfect but I went with 5 anyway. Having a diverse dataset helps in my case because it hasnt learnt any biases of any characters. Except its maybe hard to get rid of the black panties. Nothing a little emphasis cant fix.

Well, what can I say? Seems like holoomelette is here to save the day, it gave me the best results out of models, creamsicle being second best. I also tried to run the prompt on grapefruit but the results were meh.

This is the best and closest I can get to Okayu's outfit without a lora. I'm sure I can tweak a few more prompts to strengthen/lessen but I'm honestly tired of adjusting it so I'll leave it like this.

I used to be very cautious about this thing so I only used 1 account fo SD, then I got fed up with 24 hour cooldown and made another account, then another and now I have about 12 accounts, polmao.
Only got fucked once because I ran 2 colabs at the same time, 1 text based AI and 2 SD. I got lucky cause I used my main account along with the throwaway one and the throwaway one got locked permanently until I let google run its "investigation". I simply cut my losses, I made that account the same very day and lost a few gens but nothing major. Currently sitting fine at 12 accounts but I'm thirsty for more because I want to upload as many different models as possible. With your colab however it is not necessary due to big variety of models, vaes and extensions such as latent couple and control net. As well as larger space(due to models not eating it up). All thanks to you for that.

Its quite obvious if you think about it isnt it?
Clearly some of the calculation on the VAE requires FP32 precision to work some of the time, not everytime but often enough to warrant a command like --no-half-vae.
So this is very basic computer science shit but its too complicated to explain here and the wikipedia articles for half and single precision floating point numbers should do it well enough.
I think it eventually winds up into a rounding error that makes the VAE freak out and produce a negative number. Hence why it all turns black. (0,0,0,0) RGBA values.
Example: When dividing by 3 in FP16 the closest value you can divide with is 0.33325195. Not 1/3 = 0.33333... repeating. This is an example of how the inaccuracies in precision could cause mathematical problems in solutions that needs to be more precise and warrant use for FP32 instead. But now you need twice as many bits of space so thats why the fp16 models are twice as small.

We do "feed" it in a sense.
We skip a step though. Instead of making the image again by image processing, it strips the prompts, model, and seed from the metadata and can make it again on its own.

Any generator using the same prompt, model, and seed will give the same output, they are generated algorithmically, not randomly. Therefore there is no need to feed the pixels of the image back.

This wildcard thing you brought up monday, it's absolutely amazing. and just a while ago I found out I can do wildcards within wildcards, so basically having dynamic clothing layers.

This has allowed me to for example: Randomize legwear, if I get shorts or a skirt, I can give it a 50% chance to generate with some kind of stockings or thigh boots, but it will never try to generate those on top of full-length pants since the wildcard isn't called there. It's amazing how much I'm able to get out of this system.

So really, thank you for bringing it to my attention, you are a top G for real.
