They haven't really gotten 100K since the December 2020 waiting to watching bug or "feature" that really hit EN hard. It happens to NijiEN too. For whatever reason it doesn't affect the Japanese vtubers as much. I think it was December 5th into the 6th. The next day all the EN ccv numbers got cut by like 70%. They didn't lose that big of an audience overnight. Its some kind of thing that YT put on the EN vtuber channels because they were getting too big and Susan didn't want them destroying her popular fleshtubers. There was another cull in late December 2022 that only affected JP vtubers but that one got fixed within 1 week. The EN one was never fixed. JP members actually told their managers and complained about it. Pussy EN members said nothing so it never got fixed. The last big EN ccv count was Gura's 2nd outfit reveal in May of 2021. She had 194k

Let's see, they released males and mixed with them so much a complete merge seems imminent sometimes, we've had legit doomposter schizos 100% convinced EN will announce the first merge between Hololive and Holostars branches.
That scared the shit out of their core fans and turned off many of them.
Then there's the awful stuck up bitchy attitude many of their talents have had towards their fans souring their relationship. The most loyals come back like beaten dogs but a lot of fans simply stopped caring enough to drop everything else they were doing just to watch their streams every time.
Then there's the fact that they have very inconsistent schedules and for a few months there was a branch wide hiatus, it was actually hard to find someone to watch.
Neglect from their parent company is also a big factor, when big collabs, special events and organized streams are so rare they are nearly non existent it lets the branch as a whole fall off the radar, it becomes less relevant.

Combine all that and you have less people tuning in.
You can count me in, I saw it was going on but I didn't care enough to keep up with the group anymore, in a different time me and all my friends would be watching live and commenting and reacting but now nobody cared.
I'll watch the clips later instead.

CCV for EN streams are bugged again

Just go compare the Marine mocap stream vs Gura reveal stream. 3x live but somehow only 20% more VOD viewers and had the same amount of likes during the stream.

This shit is happening to other EN members too including the men. All the EN streams have oddly high percentage of likes to viewers and poll partcipations. I remember the beyblade off collab having 5-6k viewers but somehow 7k votes in the polls 10 minutes into the stream. Like do you really believe 100% of viewers voted and then 2k more viewers just opened the stream, voted in the poll, and left right away at the start of the stream?

Ame's current stream has 5.8k likes but 6.2k views ffs.

neither of these are true, at least as standalone factors
holodex devs did tests for ccv and they were being counted
adblocker tests for ccv have had mixed results, meaning there's other factors in play
