I find it humorous how often people often try and compare Neuro sama to Tay desu
It is really a terrible comparison
Tay was a completely retarded chat bot that could only parrot answers after repetition and exposure, spitting outputs based upon the likely inputs she was feed, which was racism and /pol/ retardation
Neuro sama is completely on another level, being a Neural network that is years ahead of what Tay was capable of. Neuro sama can learn, albeit gradually, and begin to pick up on grammatically cues and associate basic words and ideas the longer she is fed the proper data to organize with. While Neuro sama may not "understand" or "comprehend" things like we do, she can learn to follow and carry conversations, whereas Tay could only spout answers that were based on were a relfection of input rather than having learned to organize the words in a meaningful or useful way.
While Neuro sama still has a ways to go, even in her debut Neuro sama was far more advanced than when Tay ever peaked in her much more limited capacity.
I never once felt like you ever had a real conversation with Tay, but you can uncannily feel like you are actually talking to something when interacting with Neuro sama the longer you talk to her
