The ship was ended by Kiara because she was doing most of the work and getting most of the backlash over it because people didn’t realize that Calliope had been putting on a tsundere act. Of course Calliope didn’t care much for it in reality and was checking out more and more due to a negative spiral of being bad at it making her hate it more and then getting worse at it.
This pullback and troubles made Kiara try even harder to make the fake relationship work, too hard.
It was always not very good but idiots not realizing a tsundere roleplay and actually believing Calliope didn’t like Kiara so they attacked Kiara over it was probably the biggest factor.
