Why do the popular VTubers always have the most shitty rigging in history? The designs are good but the rigging is horrendous. Gura, Kobo. Can't think of any others but you get the idea. Their faces look completely malformed. It's like, are people actually attracted to jank? On some subconscious level is that part of what's causing them to be popular?

I don't have a problem with Kobo and Gura's rigging. What annoys me the most is Risu's rigging. I don't know if it's her setup but she blinks too much and her large teeth and mouth does't sync with her voice.

Big corpos look to invest as LEAST as possible and profit out of it. They have the brand name carrying the girls, they dont need quality rigging, a bunch of crazy accessories, tons of different and unique facial expressions, etc.
