Once the accelerated plant growth is gone from presumeably sapling soil then the plants would simple not grow fast. That does not mean they cant grow at all, just means they would grow normally.

To sunmarise, /meat/'s landmass is big. Our old system is not compatible with the infrastructure of the time. Plus the stealth thread island off the coast of /ggg/ is so far away that travelling there is at the mercy of monsoon changes.
Another plothole we found significant is that due to the distance and winds, /meat/ raiding the gulf region with risu and moon is very impractical.
Early modern espionage takes months of preparation and there is no radio at the time.
You can see that our old lore relied too much on concepts and infrastructure that is unavailable at the time.

To answer the travel questions, its like 45 to 90 days, assuming you aren't blown off course. That's a long time. And the raids, I forget how long it took but it was like half a year from either the island or meat mainland to reach Risu under perfect conditions. Either way, one of the main issues is that because this isn't like the Mediterranean like I think many thought when this project started, you are essentially at the mercy of the Black Fleet and the other fleets in the region, which also include the fleets of the Risu Islands, Mep, Moon, /ehe/ (another major naval power), Lusitania, and the Knights who just so happen to be located on that island chain I circled. Not good odds. The conclusion I came to was that Meat likely would raid areas to its south or closer but there would still likely be limited raids on Risu, though I doubt any raids on Moon are possible given the Black Fleet and Kobokers.

I am pretty sure that can be done with some fantasy map generator. You sort of have a few different styles of map creation here. One camp that includes myself sticks with Paint.net, others use more advanced programs, and others use inkarnate.

I found a source somewhere which calculated that a sailing vessel can do about 50 miles a day. Keep in mind this is a conservative estimate, you can get up to 100 miles but also less that 5 in a day too.
Distance Calculations:
Mainland to Island: about 2500 miles or 4000 km. By ship, this means about 50 days to the island, but could be longer.

Island to Silvanus: about 3800 miles or 6100 km. By ship, this means about 76 days to Silvanus.

Island to moon: about 5400 miles or 8800 km. By ship, this means about 108 days to Moon.

Moon to Mainland: about 3600 miles or 5800 km. By ship, this means about 72 days back home after a raid on moon.

Calculating this together, if we start at the island, it takes us 180 days if we are not stopping or evading the numerous threats to get back to your homeland. That is a lot of time and this is one of the issues with the spy network, because the information you will get might be really out of date. If we say we start in the mainland itself, its a 230 round trip assuming things went perfectly and does not account for raids, restocking supplies, evading threats, storms, bad days for wind, etc.

No, because of the logistics of intelligence in this era are very flawed. You don't have radios or anything, and things can change easily given the timespan it takes to get information, process it, and use it. You can't have Room 40 in this era for example for that reason. It's useful for close operations, but for these raids it would need to assume that nothing changes at all for it to be effective. No, meaning that you don't need to explain it in depth in the main lore, but can have side pieces that explain it in depth. The main lore, remember, just needs to be consumable. You can keep it as simple as "We raided/got slaves from /risu/". How that happens can be something described in detail in a sub-doc. This can be applied to many things, and I recommend this when we get things that are too complex in general.

I actually want to do some research into Celtic and Gaelic cultures to get some ideas before I write more on this bit, but for now just know that group prayers (usually once a day near the twilight hours, but skipping days if the shaman sees fit happens regularly) consist of a lot of chanting or singing and drums around a fire. Individual prayers are more solitary and contemplative, wherein a sapling might take a hike deeper into the forest and meditate as they try to Listen to the Will of the forest.

That's going to depend on each sapling. If they have a trade they practice, theyd spend most of the day doing that on and off. If not, they will either be playing games, or gathering food for the tribe, or both at the same time.

As mentioned above, a large part of the tribe would spend their idle hours walking around the forest gathering nuts, seeds, roots, fruits, and vegetables to bring back to the village. If they come across a recently dead animal they would bring that back as food as well.

Yes, risuners can use the sapling’s chuubanite and its effects, but it has to be done using sapling chuubanite which is found primarily in /uuu/ soil. If they tried it with the dirt in /risu/ it wouldn’t have the sapling living forest effects, it would have the risuner magic gem effects. It is not the case that every chuubanite can do every effect. They can do a variety of effects, but they all have to revolve around the same central theme except for the mundane ones available to all, which do not include the effects being discussed here. I don’t have much of a horse in this race, but unless I missed something I don’t see why everyone’s dogpiling on cunt when all he’s trying to say is that sapling magic requires sapling chuubanite to work.

These arguments don’t really apply in this case. If this goes against how chuubanite works and Vitubia’s laws of physics as a result, then it shouldn’t be allowed. Similarly, there are some things that shouldn’t be allowed just because a writer wants it to happen if it fucks up the world being collaboratively built here. To be clear, if OG wants to take a bunch of /uuu/ chuubanite back in the form of dirt or whatever and build up some forest defenses/disguises that way, then sure. Go for it! But trying to do a sapling ritual on /risu/ chuubanite and expecting to get something resembling sapling magic out of it seems to go against how chuubanite works. If I’m misunderstanding how it works, then feel free to correct me but I don’t see how this makes any sense atm.

Nothing says two chuubanites can't have similar effects. If saplings are okay with using the risu chuubanite for that purpose, that fits within the canon. If not, they bring back some dirt, maybe spread it out like fertilizer to get a slower effect, and that's fine too. More importantly, it feels like the two parties involved would be able to figure this out without external assistance.

Oh thats a good question. SCUM are turned into trees by forcefully running the forest's blessing/curse through them so that the saplification process takes them over faster than their bodies can adapt, thus killing them by turning all of their biological material into plant cells.
Now the Kind of tree or plant they would grow into would depend on the sapling. If they were older and their body already had an affinity toward growing a certain kind of plant material, thats what they would naturally grow into. If they were younger, or if they had no pre-established affinity, it would be up to the tribe's shaman to pick a species and guide the growth toward that. By default I think most shaman's would go with what they are used to, so they'd probably pick a kind of tree that is more common around their part of the forest.
As for smoking and flavor, I guess you'd either have to specifically ask a shaman to start catering to your particular needs when SCUM need to be put down, or start importing SCUM wood from an /uuu/ forest that already grows things like mesquite, applewood, hickory, etc.

Yeah if you check our lore saplings do eventually give into the forests' curse/blessing to transform into different kinds of Ents/Dryads depending on their affinity (picrel). It's part of our lifecycle. And its not strictly bound to plants; in some less common cases animal-like transformations can also take place.

In most cases that would be perfectly fine. Not really a squeeb, and certainly nothing close to SCUM behavior.

Forest climates and ecosystems are more ruled by our chuubanite than the actual latitudes of each region, but since that part of the lore hasnt been fleshed out yet (holy crap I have so much on my todo now, and I should really bump that up in priority since theres an anon thats really good at topography and climate maps around), yeah, you can think about it like that.
Similarly some coastal forests might have mangrove-like saplings, and some swamp/marsh forests might have some cattail, willow, or even lilypad saplings. (cactus saplings would be cool, but I can only stretch the chuubanite magic bit so much, and there are no natural deserts in our part of the continent)

By the time a sapling has undergone enough saplification to be able to sprout a whole flower, their body would be the thing affecting the growth more than the environment, so it would depend on the sapling.
If they felt particularly intune with their forest during a certain time of year, then they might bloom then. If they were more of a social sapling then they might bloom according to their mood or their willingness to be reproductively available.
