From what I've gathered, when Neuro plays a game it's 2 AI's running in tandem, one is the chat AI and the other is the game AI. There is some level of communication between the two AIs that allows her to react to what's happening in-game, but it's extremely limited as of now.

Game AI definitely isn't general purpose. The AI that plays Osu isn't the one that plays Minecraft. That's why she can't just pick up and play a new game easily, there has to be some pre-existing framework or else you're dumping a ton of manhours with little return.

For the video processing I'm sure it's limited by the available resources; the first time he tried it his PC almost died. Not sure if it's all running locally or if some of it is farmed out an Azure instance or something. I'd be real curious to see behind the curtain but I guess not knowing everything is part of the magic.
