anyone else feel like spikes are too "sticky" now
normally this behavoir of a spike not going down is cause of an expected extra spike tommorrow or a costume or something but most spikes are plateauing for no real reason
the only real suspect i can think of is were running out of people actually selling those coins either 1: cause of all the previous spikes giving us too much money and putting more people into div rush or 2: increasing lack of high end players with more than 1500 to sell

While "ain't sellin'" is largely a meme, you are actively encouraged by the game's systems to sell less than you buy. This means that on a macro level, the volume of a coin only ever really goes up. When the volume goes up, the amount a coin's price moves from being bought/sold (transactional adjustment) is reduced. Throw that in with huge pools of coins that are on dormant players, and you have prices that will move at a glacial pace in either direction. Check the M.O.V.E. report sometime. A really strong sale will only make a coin drop about $1500 at most over the course of an entire day, and then a mediocre adjustment will push it 2~3x that. A strong adjustment is basically permanent until Susan says to dial it the other way, and dips are generally weaker than spikes despite happening more frequently.
