How did you find (and fall in love with) your oshi? Also feel free to gush about why you like your oshi. I'll start.

I have been watching vtubers for around five years and at no point have I ever found a vtuber I've clicked with. That was until about 3 months back when I found Flare. First vtuber I've ever supa'd, first vtuber I've membered to and have remained a member for three months now. She's just so... genuine. I love how much she cares about her fans and I love her sincerity. She's not too cutesy and innocent like Sora (who I don't have a problem with, just not my type of vtuber) and she isn't menhera. She's the perfect balance of everything I love in a vtuber while not coming off like she's putting on an act.

I decided to try something new (didn't watch anime or anything japanese related at the time) and found her live streaming on youtube while mindlessly browsing.
Didn't really understand anything or know what a vtuber was, but she had a pleasant voice and cute laugh so I stayed around for a bit. Ended up coming back more and more and I guess it was a gradual process. This was in 2018 and I still watch and appreciate her today.

For me, I guess it's Pekora. She has a mix of smugness and charisma in her streamer personality that borders on Jeremy Clarkson levels on top of being capable of playing both the underdog hero and the seemingly invincible villain; and that compels you to want to see her both fail and succeed in what she does when she participates in contests or plays games, while also spurring you on to want her to just plain succeed (and keep succeeding) as a content creator and streamer because she's just so good at keeping you entertained through everything she does.
