I see. I started this morning too. We probably needed a darkling guide for optimum grind cause it's starting to slow down at this level. But until like lvl 15 you can play by default without equipping and upgrading items. After that you need to sort your characters out a bit i think and equipment starts to matter.

I wouldnt recommend putting on or upgrading regular gear that hasn't got at least 2 extra stats, so higher than basic or rare. Otherwise you'll be wasting money removing them later.

Make sure to collect all the starting gifts, and enter the referral code in the settings RONDATWITCH . Swap out any 2 start or lower character for one with higher number of stars, lvl is not important, theyre just better.

Dont use multibattle points until you're close to lvl 18 or so. Just use regular autobattle.

Playing on Manual can get you through rounds autobattle cannot, since it plays like a retard and wastes AOE's and Buffs on last enemies just before going into the next round that removes all buffs but leaves skill cooldowns. But thats also more relevant for lvl 15+

I don't think it's worth it rolling green crystals. Theres a reward for rolling 3 or 5, so you can do that much. Otherwise you're not gonna get anything useful. You should have at least 3 - 3star champions by just playing. That would be 4 in total for the campaign team including purple guy, Also i recommend for those starting out picking KAEL he has a AOE that hits all the enemies at once.

Looks like to get to 25, at least with my build it's gonna end grinding out Stage 2 of Godfreys crossing. Doesn't seem to be worth trying to build your character stats or gear to go farther than that. Stage 3-5 can still end in defeat, Stage 2 ends in certain win. So setting up the Multibattle on this and letting it run seems to be the way for me.

It may be a good indication for all of you others how much to try to upgrade, if you can get to godfreys stage 1, you might as well just letting it run in the background forever.

Unless you have some other ideas.

Things i did:
1. Just autoplay battles until you get consistently defeated
2. Add gear to the characters, focusing on C.RATE first for DPS/AOE, then Damage or HP. Not even worth adding items that don't have 2+ extra stats. Then Upgrade them to level 8.
3. Autoplay as far as possible until you get defeated again
4. Upgrade skills of DPS characters with Books in the tavern, do a several Dungeon runs to get some potions for basic ascensions (dont think its worth spending too much time here though).
5. Autoplay until Godfreys crossing for final grind. (set up a multibattle at lvl 22 or so).

Any other strategies?

If it works, it works i guess. I'ts probably about 1k xp difference per battle. But then again, its Character xp, i have no clue how Profile XP is calculated? Character XP after 19 is basically a grind no matter what. From what I have seen best way to grind is to either grind a specific map or to repeatedly grind your highest level you can auto clear.

Lol, was just reading a guide as well that said the same thing. But i don't think you can change the difficulty until you beat the campaign once and chapter 12 is the very last chapter. By the time you'd get there fussing about min maxing builds, you'd be close to 25 anyway i think.

You can try opening the green crystals and see if you can roll a rare character. What's your team/lvl look like right now and where you battling at? There are some locations that have really tough rounds (like 2nd or so stage in the before entering elf city level) but once you get past them it gets easier again for a couple of chapters.

What's your account lvl? Might try upgrading current artifacts to lvl 8 even if they're shit. If you're autobattling- trying to manually fight through in optimal way may get you trough some tougher fights too.

In this case best thing to probably do is to analyse which fight gives you trouble and why and see if you can either manually fight through it, check the rock papers scizzors symbols of you can increase your counter aligment, or maybe one of your 3 stars is really being useless, im not familiar what the orc one does. That's not the problem I still have plenty of battles but it drops me out after the first one without giving xp because all my characters at max lvl. I switched out one of them to a lvl 1 but I'm not sure if it will give xp properly..
