Concert was mindblowing. I went in not knowing half the songlist (since my copy of the Specter still hasn't arrived) and it was nonstop hype from the start. Guests were unexpected in cool, different way from just having another singer like her 1st one. I honestly didn't think being able to cheer again was that big of a deal at first (besides being able to say "kyou mou kawaii") but it really does add a lot. NCP would've made it perfect, but it was worth every yen I spent on the ticket and merch regardless.

I completely agree, I think the pricing model for this stuff is all kinds of fucked and designed to bleed more money out of the passionate fans willing to pay for it. The fact that you're only given a limited period to restream these things on SPWN instead of being given access to the restream forever / a download of it is also offputting, and SPWN is also notorious for issues with their live streams. And Cover really doesn't put much effort into the overseas side either, by this point you'd really think English subtitles for their talents' songs would be standard but it still isn't. And of course providing full English subs for these concerts that you have to pay for isn't something they accommodate either. Essentially I'm griping about feeling like Cover provides poor service relative to what they charge for wanting to support the idols.

Just had a quick look, as an Ausfag I'd have to pay about $30 for a movie ticket, if I had to value it on entertainment value yeah I'd pay a bit more for the ticket here but I also enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than 99% of movies I could see in a cinema these days.

Keeping in with comparing it to a movie ticket earlier is a lot easier here, this is purely so people who would also by the blu ray have the incentive to still do so. You don't have to do that though, it's already ripped and uploaded around the joint.

True girl show is meh. It's kpop-ish to me. However, I have to admit that the song sound surprisingly good live and it's a good live song compared to listening to it on the album.
I don't think Mori would improve any of her song in live performance though kek.

This is something another media i'm playing does but Project Sekai lives have an added Center Cam to the stream archive that lets you see the screen undisturbed so you can see the choreography (sort of integral to the series) but I can see something like a steady cam being a cool implementation, maybe an unobstructed view of the stage with the band?

Suisei songs after ghost always design with the stage performance in mind.
Kakero is a great example of the song that is just decent on its own, but uses to accerelate the stage tempo. You just know the real shit will come after Kakero.

Project Sekai uses Abema. Not sure if it's at all any different from SPWN other than the later being focused on Vtuber content. I think it'd be nice, I hope some companies take notice and try doing something similar.
