Just finished watching Flayon's Monetization stream, my god he is so much like me I think he really will be my Tempus oshi. He used to have anger issues and while I don't have them myself I relate to him being an emotional person just like me. He has a short attention span and has trouble focusing so he does things or has people help him do things to make him focus like I do. He expects to get bullied but instead he gets lots of support and encouragement and it goes a long way a lot like I need encouragement to keep going in life. He also wants to strive to be better, even if he already gives it his best. He's a competitive and very creative theater kid who says he's quiet but then he's a completely different outgoing person when on stage just like me! Back in high school I was always so quiet that people would forget I was even in the room yet I was a star when it came to public speaking and acting. I won a Shakespeare contest when I was in high school and everyone was blown away by my skills. I also never wanted to express my emotions despite being an emotional person. I barely cried at anything unless I was REALLY hurt. People say I'm nice but I don't have the mental capacity to be a hero to anyone and he said the same thing! I love how he plays mecha games and I hope he keeps up with that because I'm going to suggest a ton of them he can play. He has such a natural cuteness to him and I can't wait to see how he grows as a part of Holostars!

There's only so much the boys can do on their own and while I don't think popularity is a factor for talent, these boys really do have a lot they can do but it's a shame not more people know about them. I've thought about this before. If they ever release an EN group, I expect them to be under Sutopuri's company: STPR inc. since it also manages Pmaru and Knight A. They are more like variety streamers rather than Vtubers but most of their yet limited english reach in SEA and America has promoted them as Vtubers so they probably have considered the idea of forming an EN group at some point.

Most holobronies did not care for tempus 1 until the mag memes happened and Vesper's plastic ball story. That's the only reason they were popular. The Holostars box is really small, smaller than Nijisanjis, so yeah, even with a lot of eyes on them and the "success", the audience is still small. Yes, you don't have to collab with people you don't want to. You're an adult and no one can force you to do anything that's not within your contract. If it doesn't say in your contract "You MUST collab with the girls", there's no reason for you to. If the shork can go her entire holo career without even acknowledging the stars then I don't see why anyone in stars can't do the same.

Numbers get to people's head but there's nothing wrong with having a small dedicated fanbase that gives you money and support on their own. You could have 10k watchers but get only a few superchats. I would rather have a few thousand that give me lots of superchats. You can encourage growth on your own too. Make clips/shorts, quite literally telling people to "like the video" actually works, bait fan art, get your community involved by making fan-related hashtags like the fanfic one Shinri is doing, ask your fans to request you at conventions, and telling people to buy your merch to show off to their friends goes a long way. If the company isn't doing promo for you, do it yourself. You'd have to do it anyway regardless if you were an indie or corpo. Shinri's a great example of being dedicated to his fans.

Seeing viewers drop by the thousands every time a female entered a Luxiem stream would tell you yes. Getting them would depend on how you go about it.
