Honestly, I don't like her, the way she uses 4chan culture as a crutch and flipflops on shit. There is a lot I could say about Pippa that would get me in trouble, she has a lot of flaws.
That said, I don't think she's a bad person. On some level I relate to her, and feel sympathetic to her. I think she is probably having the time of her life right now, and were it not for this golden ticket, she'd be dead or on her way out.

But there comes a point, when you're having these kinds of realizations, that you have to also realize that it is time to let go.
I myself went through this realization. I was a big Gosling for my oshi, but it was eating me up. So I cut her off. I still visit once in a blue moon, and I consider myself lucky that she is a vtuber I feel I can genuinely respect, but for my own sake, I do not think about her. I have, for the most part, managed to become indifferent, and I am much happier than I was.
Where once I would check her schedule every few hours and think about her streams constantly, I now only think of her in passing, and watch a random stream if the fancy strikes me. It usually does not.
It's a little sad but it's better this way.

Even IRL idols suffer from all the turmoil and controversy that vtubers do.
I think at its roots it's a form of entertainment, and for most vtubers, a business model. That said, you don't have to buy in. There are sinister elements, as with most things, but you can still enjoy it for the good things. That's how I feel anyways. I have found there are a lot of good things in the vtubing community.
