In theory, there is a use for journalists. Keyword: in theory. So then you’ve got to trawl the board and learn what posts are bait and what posts are just anons talking about vtubers outside the hugbox. If you don’t use /vt/ regularly, it just seems like a bunch of cancerous schizos making shit up, because there really is a bunch of that.
So…yeah. In theory you could have a “journalist” who knows what they’re talking about regarding vtubing, but the way it’s all structured makes that really unlikely. And the people who read this shit wouldn’t know the difference between someone who knows what they’re talking about and someone who doesn’t, so who knows if someone knowledgeable would actually last.
