This is a clear case of burnout. If you notice her last 6 months she hasn't streamed consistently and her views dipped. Hololive invested in Gura a lot and they are demanding that she streams more or they are cutting her funds which is why she is taking a break.

This is like taking a break from relationship. Gura is gonna take 3 months break then she is gonna try streaming again only to realize she doesn't like being a vtuber anymore and will graduate.

This is Sana all over again, except Sana's burnout came too early while Gura's came after 2 years of consistent streaming.

The way the other members acted I do believe she was effectively fired by Cover when they refused to renew her contract. It wouldn't be for viewer numbers or even lack of streaming since Cover is mostly a brand company that uses the characters to sell merch.

After Vesper got into a fight with management and got suspended for 2 weeks there seems to be major disagreements in the EN branch. The NDA they sign prevents us from hearing about those fights but we do see the radio silent health breaks. They aren't burning out because of too much streaming they are burning out because they are constantly fighting with management.

She originally had over twice the number of songs, and twice the number of guests, but management kept telling her to cut songs out or change things. Most 3D Lives are almost an hour long, while hers is only about 36 minutes, so the fact it was cut down was pretty noticeable. Also, her actual model is still scuffed to hell. Watch her performance in Pekora's stream, and you'll see her legs clipping through the hoodie constantly, because there's literally no physics on her clothes at all.
