Is it me, or when it comes to HoloEN, their default outfits are the best ones?
Makes me kinda sad they use other skins, especially Kronii.

Most of the originals are definitely the best. Kronii's new one especially looks like shit, like an intern slapped in together in 2 hours with the only instructions being "make me look like a dumpy, SJW Karen grandmother."

Minus the shit rigging, I like Gura's cat shark more than the base one. The rest of Myth is pretty hit or miss, but they do have some good ones like Kiara's new years and Ina's second outfit. Mori's new years is alright, but her wigger one is complete garbage. Ame's default is definitely the best.

All of council's default is the best for sure, but Fauna's new outfit is nice.

I think most of HoloEN have good alt outfits. their originals will always be the better though - For Myth I would say all their og outfits are top tier except for Kiara's (again good alt outfits though).

And for me, Noel in her jumper is more iconic than her knight armor

Kiara's red dress is hot as fuck, and easily her best.

That depends, Mori's wigger outfit is more "her" and suits what she actually plays her character as. Bae and Ame's outfits just blend together so no matter what they wear, it feels like it's just right for all of them. Gura's is best as her default since her other outfits are just unimpressive. And none of Kronii's outfits suit her, not even her default one.
Kiara has the best variety though.

HoloEN getting their first new outfits was, in retrospect, the beginning of the end for my interest in Hololive. This was before I ever visited /vt/, so I was still an uncritical clipviewer who thought the girls could do no wrong. But Mori debuted that rapper outfit, and even past me went, “Oh…that’s lame af.”
My rrat as to why a lot of EN’s new outfits seem so underwhelming is that the default outfits are picked by the artist, while the girls have input into the new outfits. In retrospect, that probably should have been the first sign that most of EN’s members don’t want to make the kind of content their audience wants.

That is a major issue since Cover doesn't give hololive members any choice with their model or default outfit. A coomer bait outfit in hololive doesn't tell you anything about whether that person will make sexy ASMR which is counter-intuitive. The new outfits were the first real glimpse into the personality of the holoEN members.

Yes her default outfit is her best one, she should be barred from making suggestions for her next outfits and let her mama make all the decision making. Honestly would be better for both parties if her design went to another korean willing to sex up her design without having to force ina to do that shit.
