People who are old-old now were already middle age when the internet was taking off in the 90s/early 00s, they just don't give a fuck to learn computers I think, or have ideas about computing stuck in like the 70s-80s when they were more likely to be tech savvy. They know and are used to television so will just keep watching that until they die basically. Hell if they're in their 80s they may be too infirm to really focus on using a computer vs just laying in bed watching TV.

Most of the kids in her grades play it, and there's been a big surge in content for that demographic.
