Mori originally used to do mixed karaoke/original song streams and kiara pushes every single song she releases to the point it became "stream sparks" grew a life of its own and managed to save that failing song. Those aren't really good views for any of them but I'm not sure what people expect in terms of views. An MV getting 1 million views in less than a week is out of the ordinary. Not that many can do it in a month's time either. On my scale basing this on seeing that Umisea and even the Twelve Days of Christmas (cover) hit 1 million at around 3 months time, I'd say if you can't hit 1 million in 3 months I'd say you failed as a song if you can't do better than those songs listed. I'd award a participation award if you still hit 1 million views even if you have to crawl for it since I don't think there is that many that hit that if you account for all the cover and original songs in Hololive. It's gotta be between 1,500~2,000 right now. It is possible to get a resurgence in interest in a song later but those are rare and don't happen often.

On the contrary, I would say only her fans tune up to watch her MV and original songs. The thing is that she is competing indirectly with all the jpop big hits and that's no good.
She doesn't release ambitious MV and you have tooboe and Zutomayo out there.
Her pop and song concepts are neither sugary enough nor depressing enough. Her lyrics are quite weak and that makes the song not very interesting or emotional to watch, she talks abouts hope and despair every time but songs like hated by life itself have way deeper vocabulary and makes you come back every time.

In the end, people in the gray zone don't just listen to the pop for the tunes but because they feel that the songs take the words of their mouths. They want both novelty and honesty. And the Irys songs are lost in the same bargaining bin as isekai shows opening #183621 and Failed harem anime of the season opening.
Seriously, see the difference in babbling between people about Irys songs and people about Irys streams. No singer deserves songs so superficial they would be more vacuum than a stream.
