Why is Pekora the only third gen without an alternative costume?

I am not a nousagi but I can't stop thinking about how she'll gonna celebrate her 2nd year in hololive soon and she still doesn't have an alternative costume other than her new year kimono dress.

Other gen3 members (besides Rushia) didn't have an alternate costume either and they started getting them late last year and they seem to be spaced about a month or so between each other also new years got in the way and they were probably busy making new year's costumes for all gens 4 and 5, not to mention the Nene redesign, hell Rushia got a new model that is a mix of her old and new cosumes just 2 weeks ago

I don't think it's really racism, more of like a culture thing. Because in some anime like Slam Dunk, they call one of the black characters a gorilla but that character is actually well respected a mentor figure.

New costume designs is between the vtuber and their parent designer. If pekorq really had clear design intententions she would definitely voice it out. The oppai mousepad thatbwe got was entirely her parent desiner's idea though. She wasn't really keen in having one but she still promoted it anyway. Honestly, i think she just doesn't have time to really sit down and think about it. She was always the one that waa heavily marketed too, the wacca, holo fes, nissin curry and all that. Changing designs will also mean changing the brand images for those so changing or introducing one might not be a good decision. Beginning of the year will be good move to do so but she has bloom so she might be too busy the practices and everyday stream she does

Not just them, for some bizarre reason a lot of Asians love it. My Chinese and Thai friends used it a lot, and my Taiwanese grandma and grandpa used it exclusively. Even the Vietnamese girl I knew in high school used it, but I never met anyone who wasn't Asian that used it.
