>What is this thread actually for?
There are a lot of vtubers, whose main games are APEX, and because of this, they often collab with each other. This thread is to gather the discussion about those vtubers and the people surrounding them, all in one place.

>Who are these vtubers exactly?
There is no definite list. Vspo is usually relevant since most of their vtubers mainly play APEX. Anyone who has participated in CR cup is probably relevant to this thread too, even if they're not really a vtuber. Even your favorite indie who spams APEX and collabs with no one else might be allowed in here.

>Do posts have to be related to their APEX streams?
No. You can post about your apexchuuba and her redbull addiction, and it's fine as long as she's part of the chuubas relevant to this thread. This means you can talk about other games too - they don't always play APEX.

The thing that makes this scene special is that these vtubers are bound together by their frequent collabs. It's hard to get a conversation going about two apexchuubas when they're usually posted about in two completely different threads, and that's commonplace for the APEX vtuber scene.

Nazuna was stuck at 40-50k for like over a year. She was always really interesting (personally I think she's the best talker in Vspo) but never collabed much and wasn't into the Apex boom like the other Vspo girls, so didn't get much exposure. Recently she started collabing a lot with oreapo, hendy, cr, the people that Noah/Sumire/Hinano usually play with, etc. She's good at valo and funny so clips are blowing up now

Hal felt like some of the chubbas were not representing the rank they had and were not properly represented. BIG STAR and AIM in particular had players that were on a higher skill level than what was their actual rank whether due to laziness or motivation.

tips:
1) you have to ADS everything (only exception is the EVA-8 shotgun). this was my biggest change coming from [literally any other shooter], but you should be ADSing all your guns.
2) meds are super important. You only really need 2-3 stacks of ammo for each gun, and the rest should be meds. Ignore grenades for now, you'll learn when they're useful eventually.
3) If you wanna get a lot of gunfighting experience in, you should drop somewhere near where a bunch of squads drop. This lets you get loot quickly and then fight people on fairly even ground. For example: on World's Edge, Fragment East is the traditional warzone 11 squads drop, so you can try dropping Fragment West, picking up 2 decent guns and then moving to East.
4) Stick to a set of 3-4 guns for now (this helps you get a feel for their recoil and effective ranges). My recommendations for easier guns are:
R301 - basic workhorse AR, light ammo is always easy to find
EVA-8 - solid shotgun, put enemy over crosshair and shoot
Hemlok - Burst AR, does solid damage at midrange (must must ads!)
Spitfire - LMG with huge clipsize, recoil pattern is ez

It's probably the best game in the BR genre. But I think console availability did a huge part in popularizing it. There's a lot of CR participants who got into it through PS4.

1. PUBG was the biggest BR in japan before cheaters shit up the servers
2. OW was the biggest FPS in japan before role queue fucked the queue times
3. 1 & 2 happened roughly during Apex's release
4. Apex is a combination of both (BR and FPS with different characters)
5. low skill floor and high skill ceiling
All of the stars aligned and it'll probably take years before this game dies in jp, it's so big that they have translation and clipping channels for western pro players.

He makes a custom match every week that was sponsored by Mildom before and now by EA. He also organizes the Vtuber Apex tournament which happens around twice a year

I made this thread and this is just my excuse to talk about BIG stuff so that's all I post about. But I do realize that they're just a small part of a bigger competitive FPS scene, so I didn't make it just a BIG STAR thread.
I think next time I'll make it more clear that this is a thread for every vtuber involved in FPS. Feel free to help me out with what to put in it.
