It's up to you to believe me or not but I am actually an intern and this is absolutely true. The thing is they outsource all of the checking works and whatnot to people who can do it at an incredibly cheap rate. Literal college students are in charge of checking everything. Furthermore, since things like stream times arent decided, everyone just picks a slot, and they "work" even if theres no streams. So, you could have some people literally just working by watching "archives." It's such a weird system. The only people that truly get full time roles are those making API, making the animations or working on holoearth.

I've thought about this too, but it's probably because out of the millions of male streamers out there, the ones that rise to the top are because they are legitimately top 1%ers in terms of game skill or charisma. The homo's are neither of those, they're not very entertaining nor good at games, and I can't have a parasocial relationship with them because I'm not a faggot, which is basically the entire model of how the girls side works (although I would consider people like Pekora, Korone, and Miko 1%ers in terms of streaming entertainment).
