I've always wondered which is more prevalent, ghostlings for Mori, her roommate, or both. It feels like the line between the character and the actress is nonexistent compared to other chubas that feelings for one would be the same for the other. People always say "you're not in love with them, you're in love with the them you created", but in the case of Mori, you're fantasizing about the secondary image based on the character. The story can inspire you, the personality can attract you, and your curiosity can lead you to the mold to fit it in, but all three components are distinctly removed from each other. There's a very skinny scale of gray between all of them, but black will never equal white.

Do you think kiara has some sort of jealousy towards mori? She has never once complimented her voice or singing while mori has complimented her on that multiple times. The JP's and her other genmates have praised mori's voice multiple times. If you listen to kiara's reaction to the holoalt pv she was only surprised that mori was the one who sang it. No. I think Kiara gave Mori every praise in person so she knows there's not a need to announce it again. There was surprise in the first teaser because few people knew about the project and because it was a very different song from anything Mori had done. In that moment it was hard not to comment on it.
Kiara probably messaged Mori recently saying it sounded good. Stuff like that doesn't need to be brought up on stream, where none of the girls want to only be known as half of a pair. Or when it disrupts the flow of what is already being done.

No denying the problem with Takamori being forced is that it's one-sided. It really wasn't believable or fun early on because Mori acted too disinterested and Kiara too pushy. It's much better when Kiara doesn't try to build some cheesy story and instead just focuses on having fun together. Then they find smaller ways to incorporate their lore into it. Obviously I like Mori, and I admit Kiara really grew on my as she found out what her own style was, so they do have good chemistry together. I think every holo was a lot more awkward when they started, aside from the few cases where they knew others beforehand.

They do now and that's why I enjoy their collabs a lot more compared to their earlier ones. For me, at least, when Kiara was close to leaving Japan it improved for me. That's the sad reality of any of these stories carrying on and showing a far future, Mori ultimately has a duty to claim her friends souls. Even if at other times looked past it or intervened.
