i know it's not something i should be ashamed or upset about, but i see people who've started after me who skyrocket into popularity and have nearly as many followers as i do or more and i can't help but feel a little jealous

i was never really a numberfag, but i feel like my growth is either stagnant or really slightly declining and for some reason it's making me freak out....
i hate numbers.... i never realized how much of an impact they had on me, but it keeps making me compare myself to others.

I feel like I say this a lot but I also think it constantly bears repeating. Even if you're a literal 2view, that's still 2 people that chose to watch you over the millions of other options for entertainment they had that day. Please never forget that, and never take them for granted.

I don't want to say "if you build it they will come" because that isn't always true. A lot of success is just pure luck and even beyond that putting yourself out there doesn't always work out. But it's always better to be the best "you" you can be than to try and be someone else in a search for validation.
