I wouldn't be surprised if the celebration isn't all that special, if there is a celebration at all.

I love Gura and don't mean to hate on her, but over the past months, it just feels like she hasn't done much aside from just doing her normal streams. I don't think this is a case of Cover ignoring her. More like, Gura herself has to put forth her own voice and ideas for projects/activities and then work to get those things done. Most likely that includes communicating with a lot of people, which she is obviously not comfortable with, as well as a lot planning and other miscellaneous stuff. She is up there in terms of popularity as a chuuba, but I feel likes she doesn't do much to further that popularity.

It could just be that she's just waiting for something to happen. But in reality, she has to create her own opportunities, then Cover would support her. But who knows how Cover actually operates.

It's been repeated time and time again to the point where I don't know how anyone on this board hasn't heard of it, but Gura isn't trying to get subs because she doesn't *want* to get subs. She never wanted to be this big, to be this special, to mog not only her genmates but all of her beloved senpais by having almost double their subs in a fraction of stream time. She doesn't want the attention and feels she doesn't deserve it; imposter syndrome is associated often with her in these threads and for good reason. Rather than not doing much to become mor epopular, one may say she's possible actively trying *not* to get popular, or not as fast. Her attempts are futile, obviously, as she keeps growing faster than anyone else, albeit at a slower rate than she could have been. If she tried to be popular; by doing collabs, releasing short meme clips, organising/participating in event, releasing covers/original songs etc, she would have hit 3mil during winter.
