Regardless of which site they source the memes from, they'll end up being the same bland unfunny but safe jokes either way, because Coco knows she would get in deep shit for pulling anything thats too offcolor or includes too much (obvious) copyrighted materials. If the outcome is the same whether its from reddit, 4chan, 9gag, or whatever other shit site she looks at, reddit is actually one of the more convenient choices because they have a system to upvote the "good" stuff. 4chan is more straight up anarchy, so you have to be very lucky or very persistent to actually find something worth looking at.

4chan has a reputation of being a mass shooter breeding ground. So even if most of /vt/ is relatively under control, managers probably shuts down any sort of actual 4chan related content.
