I only want EN3 if they're able to both support the new talents fully while not compromising support for the others as well. Plus, a good plan for introducing them in such a way that they're able to build their own identity and make their own content without being heavily tied to the previous generations. And also hopefully a selection of talents who have a real passion for streaming (not VTubing, necessarily, but streaming content and entertaining).

Like, I feel like that's one issue with some of the previous gens. Cover often seems to pick up content creators, instead of streamers, then just tells them to stream as if that's the same skillset. It's at least an adjacent skillset, I guess, but having a passion for content creation is definitely a lot different to having a passion for streaming.

Gen 4 being on it's way is an understatement. By this time they were just started debuting. It's wild to me how Coverdrones just refuse to accept that there was a balance between HoloEN's crawling pace and NijiEN's ACCELERATE and it's HoloJP. Then you have 2 options.
1). Find other VTubers outside Hololive. This industry is now dynamic and heterogeneous. Many small corpos and indies are enjoying success like no other. Since it indeed is, I strongly recommend you venture elsewhere to save your sanity.
2). Watch the main branch of Hololive, which is after all, it's bedrock no matter how much you EOPs cope otherwise. Knowing your kind, you're probably easily filtered by both Japanese linguistics and sensibilities alike though so this is highly not recommended.

So I highly recommend finding other agencies or indies that fit the mold that HoloEN "once was" or what matched your expectations while getting in. Really isn't rocket science.

Also it's hilarious how you say they're the strongest English vtuber group when they can barely get more than 5 people to play Among Us and have to abuse HoloID's altruism to have a somewhat decent lobby. There's nothing exciting happening with the branch, barely anyone has the motivation to stream for more than 2 hours the rare times they actually stream, at all times up to half of the roster is on break for whatever reason, no one has the balls to call out the entire groups and organize an event like the JP members do. just because a few talents can pull 8k CCV and one talent can pull 5-digit CCV means holoEN is strong? the truth is the branch is so anemic it's just a shell of it's 2020/2021 self at this point and it no longer has the magic and charm it used to be. almost every holoEN is suffering some sort of illness, mental or physical, and they're letting those hamper their ability to stream instead of powering through, even if said physical illness is literally just a minor ache in the belly.
the EN scene lately is full of vultures such as nijiEN, small corpos and large indies capitalizing on holoEN's decadence. sure it's almost impossible to eventually surpass gura's subs, but every holoEN has been bleeding subs lately to other corpos/indies, except fauna who's enjoying a rise because she actually streams, and kiara who commands too intense of a loyalty among her fans to decline, but has too shit of a voice to grow so she remains solidly around 2-4k ever since the dawn of time
EN3 is really sorely needed if cover really wants to regain retain its base. there are a lot of watchers that have seemingly moved on other corpos/indies, but still have some remaining confidence in the holo brand and would gladly hop back on for a new oshi. the senpais meanwhile might finally get their shit together and try to catch the returnees and newfags. or they remain lazy and become rightfully forsaken.
