christmas miracle is nice and all but i don't think it was as important as some people say, christmas miracle boosted Sora only like 10k subs tho i do think it's important for Sora momentum because it's also around the time she streamed on youtube, before that she streamed on NND and reupload them on youtube, i also saw plenty of people saying that Sora is 2view/3view for years which isn't true at all, Sora already reach 100k subs at the time of Roboco debuted so she gained like 90k subs in 3 months after christmas miracle and in the next christmas in 2018 she reached 200k subs

It's not if you're just viewing it as a "Sora only" event like /vt/ does. Basically all of the heavenly kings were picking up momentum towards the end of the year, also Kaguya Luna coming out and making the rounds on Twitter. Sora's moment was just kind of a nice little cap at the end of the year but ultimately the Christmas Miracle was seen as a turning point for everyone and vtubing in general until 2018.
