Well, the good news is that it seems like Nene did most of the organizing work for this collab since Lamy previously complained about having to do all the organizing for nepolabo collabs which is maybe why there haven't been that many as of recent. Hopefully they'll spread the organizing duties around and we'll get more collabs out of it.

I hope not. I thought that with her finally reaching 1 million and her mentions of continuing her idol journey, plus her upcoming EP and mini-sololive thing or whatever it is she was still very excited about streaming, vtubing, and most importantly interacting with her fans, and I'd like for that to be correct. But no superchat readings and zatusdans means less fan interaction which is not only a bummer for me and less of what she previously said was one of favorite things about streaming and being an idol.

Another thing we've seen less of is collaborating with other holomembers. Like I don't even know if she talks to Kanata or Shion anymore, or if she talks to or hangs out with anyone besides Matsuri, and I'm still holding my breath for more NEGI-U and Dasupi stuff to happen. Collaborating or at least hanging out with and being friends with other holomembers is a pretty sure sign that of a holomember having a satisfying and hopeful future in hololive, and us getting less of that makes me worried.

One thing that does give me hope besides seeing how much fun she had with her Pokemon streams is that Nene still seems to love her fellow 5th generation members and they had fun in their recent collab.

I don't know, I don't send superchats so I'd much rather see her play games. She generally streams 5 or 6 days a week and sometimes twice in a day, so I don't have anything to complain about there. Overall, I'm a lot more satisfied with the current Nene than the previous endless sign kai, unstable menhera Nene.

More than half the fun of streams is the hostess club experience where you’re talking directly to the entertainer. You can’t get that out of Nene anymore, she pretty much only do zatsudan once per month and when she does chat is so massive it’s unreadable.
The fact that Nene doesn't seem to put much effort into it, to the point when she almost never streams for 3 hours and immediately finish the stream after some good bye instead of chatting with her fans, even if just half a hour, tells me that she's comfortable with her current situation and found other hobbies. It's not like she's investing covers either.

Felt like translating the War in the Pocket twitter space because it had some interesting thoughts in it.
Also on topic of Nene, I personally think that Nene for the past few months, after she came back from her moving/covid break is in a better state than she's ever been (aside from the lack of superchat readings that I do in fact dearly miss).
You don't see her complain in tweets about insomnia these days, she has a generally consistent streaming schedule instead of a haphazard one where she'd get tossed around by differently scheduled outside jobs, even Nene herself said she was doing really well mentally lately. And as streamer she became more proactive with game choices (don't try to tell me you didn't feel like she was creatively in a rut when she was absent-mindedly looping minecraft, apex, rust and ark), challenging herself with things she would've probably never attempted before like the cat mario game and putting serious effort like when she went to S rank in splatoon. And, let's be real, have you ever seen Nene as genuinely invested in and enjoying a game as her current Pokemon playthrough?
Now, I DO miss her superchat readings and zatsudans in general, insanely so, but I don't know man, maybe there's a reason.

and yeah besides less sc reading she is way more aktive. hell she does a lot more twitter interactions than before so there is still some fan connection. she did do a part 1 of reading her anniversary scs so lets see when she decides to do part 2 which yeah i do look forward to a lot.
