It's a matter of entry vectors to vtuber watching.
Holo/niji watchers come from twitter, youtube algo and other normalfag spaces. Pippa has an entry vector from pseudo-political communities, and so on.

To get into a small corpo, most likely you will have been a previous big group watcher who got bored of those or curious enough to research further into vtubing. Not many people break from their "ecosystem" while still not being done with vtubing as a whole.

Yeah it's pretty useful, but as you can see, you had to be a big group watcher to bother bookmarking holodex and then find a small corpo vtuber.
If you're terminally /here/ you can find their threads (or the indie ones) but those are smaller entry vectors compared to the standard big ones, and also require previous interest in big corpos.
