Honestly, she was just really receptive of the love she received from fans when she played d2 remastered beta. She didn't do a whole lotta research on the subject, saw that there was a diablo available to play right now, and bought a tablet to give the viewers what she thinks they want. It's not like people were spamming the chat with "THE MOBILE VERSION SUCKS" while she was playing the open beta, we were all too busy nostalgia tripping and gosling over her going on and on about her past. Just think about it, she went out and bought a $200-$300 tablet purely FOR US. I'll just chalk it up to her trying to do something for the fans and tune in to hear her cute voice and tangents.

Very girly girl in the sense that she enjoys cute things a lot and taljs about herself a lot. She tends to overshare and get lost in her own little bubble of thought leading her down the tangent route. Her voice is not overly sweet, but still enjoyable. She works hard to entertain and puts on a good show for fans. Her oversharing makes her feel the realist (to me) out of the EN girls and I think she plays a character the least. The saviorfag in me absolutely loves when she gets emotional with the chat and uses them to talk through her real life problems. I wouldn't have a problem with a once a month members only stream where she just vents to us. I think she mentioned that she wanted a tablet in the past, so it's not like she can't use it, especially with the state of her laptop. Watching Netflix and Youtube from the comfort of your bed, playing Shadowverse and the likes occasionally, going through her Twitter feed quickly, I can see it getting a decent mileage in Kiara's hands regardless of sponsorship.
I also want one for the reasons mentioned above, plus for reading books and manga. Or maybe I'll just wait for foldable phones becoming mainstream in the next couple of years.

I guess you can say she saved me when I was at my lowest and she is still one of my biggest motivators to do my reps.
When EN first came out,I liked Mori's design the most and I found Gura's streams the most funny and entertaining. I couldn't ever catch Ame's streams and Ina was simply a worse background voice than my music playlist.
I didn't really cared about Kiara, at all. Her model was honestly two tiers below her genmates and I found her streams annoying given her bad mic and constant takamori pushing Mori was my favourite back then, I felt like a cuck.
I was pretty overwhelmed by the amount of workload I had at that time. You can even say I was depressed.
After seeing the clip of Kiara crying on stream, I started to watch her. I don't know how she became special for me but something clicked. I was genuinely motivated by how much of a fighter she is.
I saw her doxxs, antiposts, rrats, you know that usual september/october threads. Well after learning about her life story and how she moved on despite her terrible luck, I felt like I was a crybaby who can't even overcome 2 months of crunchtime.
Okay I'm not gonna talk more about it, she is funny and cute.

Kiara talking about wanting to be praised about her skill made me think. It's nice to get recognition in something that you put hard work into to get better, but I feel like at the final point it's the daily little things that are displayed subconsciously or without any doing of our own that are nice to get complimented on because it's things we can't control that we may not have an option to change. We can always work to get better at x, but our smile will never change, our laugh will (probably) never change, the way we put together our thought will most likely never change. Getting compliments on these small things means that people accept us for exactly who we are and is the reason I will usually tell Kiara she has a cute accent or laugh the few times I do supa It's not to say that we don't want recognition in our ability to improve, but it's that base level comfort that helps people be more naturally relaxed around others.

I watched her first stream. The opener with Kiara was her cute little story book about herself. Adorable. I was working a job on an evening I hated. My life was pretty afwul. I tuned in on my break depressed as fuck. I missed the other debuts and at first Kiara was my last pick.
Then I heard her voice. Knew exactly who she was. Knew the first time I saw her I though she was hot as hell. Thought her voice was bright and cheerful. Instantly fell in love with who she was. Chat member chewed her out on her first stream for translating real time in Japanese and she cried just a little about it. Absolute sweetheart. She is a highly expressive, passionate, adorable little goof and I love it. Also the imagery of a phoenix and her character is pretty damn good and I think its kinda deep. She's funny and unpredictable. I never really know what's going to happen when I watch her. I think some people hate that about her but I love it. The ending of Nier was a good example, I never would have imagined she'd spend the whole thing raging at Taro and then leave a mean comment at the end because she thought it was the funniest option to pick.

She also has this kind of authenticity that I find lacking in a lot of digital performers. She treats nothing as sacred and is totally open about her feelings at all times. You never get the impression that she's holding back in any way. So there's this kind of "diary" quality to a lot of her rambling which is interesting. And I do find Kiara's story interesting, too. I think it's neat how she went to Japan at such a young age to pursue a really specific dream and then ended up being beset with difficulties at every step of the way, until finally having Hololive fall into her lap and pretty much ordering them to recruit her because of how perfectly suited she was to it. I love how she commits so hardcore to her ideas and follows them through, and doesn't let "what ifs" set her back. Like the "Waiting for Ina" thing, I don't think anyone else would have done that because of the worry that maybe something seriously bad DID actually happen to her, but Kiara just has this "the show must go on" mindset which made her push through it. Holotalk is another example, if I tried conceiving something like that I'd probably stop at some point and start doubting myself and think "nah, this is kind of a cool idea but it probably won't work in practice" and then just never actually finish it. But Kiara doesn't do that, she can undertake big ambitious projects and really dedicate herself to them with a kind of abandon that I admire. It's the same thing that it must have taken her to move to Japan in the first place, that same dauntless assertiveness that lets her throw caution to the wind and just DO something and see what awaits her in the dark.

/a/nons have long dreamt of being the little girls and holos are the closest we've ever gotten. Having a female preference just fits the reflected self better. But now she's locked in with Mori who cant play her part and the whole thing falls apart. I could see them as the timeless couple wandering around and "seducing" others, Kiara for cute and girly types and Mori going after her small ones.
All we do have howerver is a friendship with Mori vaguely over there doing $stuff and Kiara trying to build her character away from just being the "other one" in takamori.

Cant pine after holos, got friendzoned by her fans, takaMORI ruinded everything as usual. The bright side to all this is her growing more confident in just doing her thing and no longer needing pre set roles for interactions with others. Proud of her for surviving the waiting for Ina and sleepy Susei streams.

Since grinding doesn't need a lot of attention it could quickly develop into a nice zatsu. But she is probably too scared people will get bored despite most of her RPG viewers are there only for her.
