you can absolutely play 99.9% of it without spending a dollar
all of the content is easy and you can even control how difficult it is if you want. and even with rolling for characters the game has a good pity system. among gachas its really one of the better ones as far as spending money

The difference between twitch and youtube, is pretty well explained by Ludwig.
Twitch is popular, yet they won't give a shit, if you pulled an accident flashbang like fillian or give twitch an ultimatum (after being partnered, becoming valueable asset 'n all) "more money or i leave" they'll say "ok, bye".
And don't get me started with the past 70/30 (now 50/50; calling it bs, they'll go back to 70/30) cut. 100$ donation, that leaved you with 30$, while they take more than double from it.

Youtube however: takes 45% from you, allows you to add ads, which give you 3-5$ per ad, and if you're planning on continuing to stay on this platform or ditch it, they'll try to reach out and compromise/negotiate with you.

Youtube might be strict with copyright claims, but is not as dense as twitch's reasoning for bans and shanking you, from money you want to earn. Plus, it's more relieable: you visit YT EVERYDAY. Twitch, for a person or two - 5 max.

honestly I don't know how to feel about it, a lot of people I genuinely like talking to came from there but at the same time I'm willing to bet they would have found their way here eventually and I don't know if it was worth it to have to deal with the absolute worst of the worst that followed them along to these threads as well.
if anything as much as I hated the backdesk and don't miss it I do hope some of the viewers/chuubas from that era that, quite frankly, wanted to feel like there were less eyes on them when they posted and that I feel like I haven't seen in a while are just lurking as anons up here instead of leaving entirely.
