Let's be real: Less than 1% of female vtubers (or lol females in general) are actually "entertaining" in any objective sense of the word that doesn't simply go for the subjective "w-well ~I~ like her, sooo...." lowest denominator bar. As in, actually being able to be engaging, creative, funny enough to make sitting through a multiple hour stream of theirs not a slog but actually an enjoyable experience that doesn't feel like a total waste of time.

Then there's the next 10% of vtubers who're just "mid", as in, in a multi-hour stream they're at most able to make one, or maybe two on a good day, five-minute-segments of actually interesting entertaining content by random chance. They're basically only good for a clips' worth of length, but the rest of their whole streams are boring wastes of time.

And then there's the 90% that are just pure irredeemable shit (like in every form of media), that contribute nothing to the genre, and you'd have to be a braindad moron who's still "entertained" by the novelty value of "omg a live moving ANIME GIRL playing [shit game badly] on a stream I can interact with? Wow that's so funni and interesting haha I must watch!!!" to actually "enjoy" them, and you're probably a fucking loser with shit taste who has nothing better going on for him in life, so yeah sure go ahead and waste it on such substandard entertainment, you'll die alone anyway

I just like watching streams of people playing video games I'm interested in. I never really cared about watching girl streamers until vtubers. Imagine not being able to use the streams as escapism and enjoy the small bit of time where your oshi streams, having some sort of connection when it's happening, and then when they aren't streaming going back to your daily life.
