Around three or four months ago some yukimins started to notice Lamy being less affectionate. She wouldn't like fan tweets, she didn't have clingy girlfriend moments on stream, she didn't do solo drinking streams, she didn't do asmr, and she didn't say I love you anymore.

She acknowledged this change during a member stream where she cried after a longtime member used the new twitter circles thing to tweet at her specifically that she's changed and he's leaving.

She didn't really explain why things in general had changed, but we can sort of piece it together. She couldn't drink as much because of medication (can someone confirm if it's medication for asthma or her throat). She stopped doing asmr back when youtube was demonetizing them, but that stopped a while ago and other members like Noel got back on the asmr grind so it really didn't make sense for Lamy to not do any until literally the other day and there's still no explanation for this. As for not being as affectionate, she recently said it's because she wants to make her streams more tourist friendly, but that doesn't explain why she mellowed out even in membership and we still don't really know why. That's about all I know.

I'm grateful to have an actually clear write up from someone who is clearly actually a fan and someone who obviously watches her.
When it comes to a vtuber and her relationship with her fans, there will always be ups and downs as you both go through different things in your lives.

No it was a different Nijinigger that made some comments in her chat. Alban or something. She got excited and said she was a fan. And then followed him on twitter. It caused a bit of a shitstorm with her viewers so she unfollowed him and people were ready to move on. And then for some reason she followed him again the next day and people got even angrier. She did apologize and basically dogeza to her audience telling them it means nothing ("I only followed him because I thought it would be polite") and said she does not talk to him or any males for that matter. And when she said she was a fan she didn't mean much by it because she would have said the same thing to any vtuber in chat. She even said management has access to DMs so they can confirm she doesn't talk to anybody in them and kept saying how being a fan of something is way different than the love she has for her viewers and "Please be kind, I've actually given you my heart". Then reiterated a few more times that she loves her viewers and isn't used to drama so she's sorry for handling it poorly and sorry if she made anyone upset.
Most people just moved on after that. Personally I think she's being honest here and is just a nice person.

The realization is setting in that few people are ACTUALLY schizophrenic enough to want to monopolize their streamers. Even those that seem like that's what they're doing often have other motives. Many viewers aren't *jealous* of men, but rather see their vtuber interacting with them too much or in certain ways as bad for their character, or they get second-hand jealousy, etc. Very few people are of the mindset "she's my unironic gf and can be with no other man."
