Normally that's how it works for a manga but in her case it's a LN adaptation and she's the illustrator. Because of that character designs and changes to them in the anime need to be approved by her
At least that's how it works in like 90% of LN adaptations. The illustrator is always involved in the process because Japanese copyright laws are very favored for artists and you basically don't want to do anything without express allowance from them (this goes for authors and artists)

I never realized how much HoloEN has fizzled out until I looked at their subs just now, and realized I'm looking at exactly the same numbers I was looking at months ago. There are no new fans coming in, it's just the same exact people as always, watching them out of some sort of obligation. It's weird because it's not as if Hololive in general is failing, you look at the JP branch and it's doing just fine and obviously Kobo has been an incredible success. But Tempus unsurprisingly disappointed heavily and it suddenly becomes apparent why there's still no sign of a gen 3 of HoloEN, because if they bring in five new girls and they make absolutely no headway, the spell is shattered, that reputation of being untouchable or invincible is finally broken once and for all. The irony being, if they don't bring in any new blood, it will only cause people to lose interest even further. I mean it's not a codeword for the homos (unlike holopro), Kiara lamented being unable to vent about said inner workings due to her timezone isolation already a year ago.
I doubt tempiss was such a big topic at the time, doesn't seem like position on homos affected relations between holos in general, this dudes are just not that important in the end of the day. I can see Mori inviting e-celebs and twitch Vtubers to the offcollab, some things that Ame hinted might point to that. It wasn't a great time in general for Myth since they were stressed out about that 3D stuff, Kiara practised dancing for like 14 hours and they were getting crazy due to tech issues.
As for Gura she was mostly collabing with Ame at first, then moved to Mori but that pretty much ended around march already doesn't seem like anything changed for the other 3. It's both Gura and Mori who moved to CouncilRyS and both of them ended ralations with their Myth shipp partners for whatever reason.
