It's an interesting chapter but the strange way it shifts perspectives within the same scene kind of fucks with immersion. Like it has a good skeleton of events but the execution kind of ruins it. It's like it can't decide whether a scene should be in Anon's perspective or Fubuki's and gambles that having it in both would work. You really need to pick a perspective for a scene and stick with it, this 'hybrid' third person/second person within the same scene just doesn't work even if the narrative is interesting enough to at least keep the story afloat.

I felt a solemn sense of foreboding build-up in the first half of the story, and was surprised to see it resolved in such a quick fashion, but as it served to continue the plot without contrived drama, I didn't mind. What started out as just a little side story idea evolved into six chapters, and I'm really happy with the types of scenes I was able to make and the characters I was able to introduce. It also allowed me to flesh out some world building ideas I'm particularly looking forward to expanding on later.

I'm hoping the next arc will be just as fun for myself and anyone reading.

For the 'bigger plot focus' route', I'm reasonably sure you'd need to expand the cast and scope in order to to expand the possibilities of what story you can tell.
Conceptually the characters you can add are mostly the divine/demonic with Kanata, Choco, La+, and maybe a mundane normal character.
Since the alternative is pretty much timeskip of fluff shenanigans until you throw in the last act twist that keeps Towa and Anon together romantically after twisting something set up earlier in the story. (Not that there's anything wrong with this but given that you're still in-between just making it a big fluff fic you're clearly weighing your options.)
