I asked /ggg/ about this a while ago, though I admit that was before Tempus came and massively soured people on them with several fuck ups. Most of the replies I got from shrimps were pretty neutral on it. Some said they wouldn't watch it since they don't like male collabs but wouldn't really mind so long as the guy isn't a weirdo who's flirting with her on stream, some said they might watch it but it's not the content they subbed for so would leave if she did it too much since they wouldn't be appealed to anymore, and some were in the extreme end who said they'd go more or less nuclear but actually ended up getting other shrimps talking them off the ledge.
All in all, the uncomfortable truth for Vtweeters and tardanons here is that most people don't really mind a male collab every once in a while, they just don't want the content they originally came for overwritten by them and they don't want creepy weirdos near the streamers they like. Besides that they genuinely just aren't appealed to by them so don't want to watch them.

It's not just that I will never watch maletubers or male collabs, but I completely filter out girls who collab with males. Furthermore, I will never watch and do not watch any collabs where Gura is collabing with a chuuba that collabs with males, be it Ame, Kroni or Mori or any other. The moment you collab with a male it means you are no longer fit to be a vtuber but are just an e-thot fleshwalking. Likewise there is no return from this, especially not for HoloEN or cover as a whole. People sometimes mention EN3 as some sort of wish or potential fix, but i'm just not interested. Even if they attempt EN3 I won't even bother watching the debut or check them out, because there's no point in getting invested in a girl and spend a year supporting her only for her to turn into an e-thot and they have the gall to shittalk (you) or belittle (you) like a child. HoloEN's management and Cover as a whole have squandered all the goodwill they had, made terrible decisions and shat on their core fanbase with Tempus. And I couldn't give less of a fuck about them after all that. I only watch Gura, and my deepest wish would be for her to graduate and reemerge in a small corpo be it IdolEN, kawaii or Phase Connect. It literally doesn't matter which one, I simply loathe Hololive. Even Yagoo shills males. Hololive is just Nijisanji 2.0, but worse, because they were once the prestige company while Nijisanji was the poor mans version. The situation is actually even WORSE longterm for Hololive because retards and zoomers are still into BRAND and it'll take time until they venture out of their pen.
