Monday, December 12
The other day, I was walking through a residential area on my way to a lesson.
I saw something green moving around the gate of a house.
I looked closer and saw that it was a young butterfly larva.
It was dainty looking and much prettier than the picture I saw in a picture book.
I was surprised to see that it was much prettier than the picture in the picture book
I was suddenly driven by a desire to touch it.
I have been gradually becoming less and less fond of insects.
I thought that if I could touch her, I might be able to reduce my dislike of insects a little.
But I was in such a hurry that I had to walk very fast.
I gave up in tears.
I would like to touch her next time I meet her.
I will try my best for another week.

It doesn't matter how good the singer is, what matters is what they use it for
For example Yuka is pretty garbage but her highly atmospheric streams and amazing orisongs more than offset it!
For another example take Noel fro hololive, she's actually tone deaf but she managed to have two great orisongs despite that!

I once watched Noel's roommate's nico channel but it felt like watching an overgrown child who lacked personal development and was being taken advantage of.
She must have suffered in her past, but it felt like I was taking advantage of her weakness.
However it also made her special and gave her a different way of being.
There is a big demographic with similar issues who can identify with her and some of them are her fans.

There is a lot more to a vtuber's success than singing talent.

Not exactly. Cevio is a company who makes voice synthetizer voicebanks using AI tech. Vocaloids (the yamaha/crypton ones) did not use this AI tech, and the voicebanks were quite literally just a recording of each possible syllable and sound a person could make.
Crypton tried going against the grain when the voice synthetizer industry started working on AI voicebanks by retooling their existing tech (i don't really get it, just know that producers didn't like it and it didn't take off) and pushing their NT stuff which kind of left space for other shit to become relevant.
Anyway, Cevio is the company, Cevio AI is their lineup of AI tech powered voice synth voicebanks. They are not Vocaloids, but Crypton has started working on AI voicebanks for Miku and their other 'loids.

They sound out of the box way fucking better than regular old Vocaloids did. Amateur songs don't make your ears bleed anymore. And the polished stuff also sounds very close to human singing now. I would post examples but this is not the thread for that and I understand it's an acquired taste.

Just like in the anime!
It feels different and special compared to the current trend of MVs where you get moving pictures.
She is alive in this one and not just a moving picture.
Is it because she tries to reproduce the original video with her own version?
Or did MVs in the past have so much soul?

How did we lose this with time?
Sometimes it feels like we are only making technological progress while going backwards on the other parts which matter.
The past then reminds us of what we lost in the process.

There's a lot of vague tweeting going around, but I think many people are confused. 4 man Meteopolis sharing a channel, 3 man Blitz Wing rushing a new member in, and the 2023 upcoming "Idol Unit" and how it will differentiate themselves from other Riot sublabels.
