I wasn't browsing /here/ until a couple months ago, so I only discovered they existed when the graduation threads started popping up.
I've been watching both EN and JP chuubas (and bilingual, such as Pikamee) for 2 years now, but still YouTube never once recommended them to me (nor did I find them mentioned anywhere else.)
