They spend a lot of money to get a fancy new vtuber avatar, realize "oh shit, the market for anime girls playing video games with no charisma or gimmicks is overcrowded!" and instead of going back to the content thousands of people subscribed for they either get demoralized and quit or double the fuck down.

I mean to be fair to Shondo she started doing ASMR when she was 15 to write cool stories. She was bombarded with hate early on until she found her footing and started doing mommyshit, which she has always been clear she hated. She kept doing it because she dropped out of school when she was 12 and had no other way of making money and at the time it made enough to pay her bills. She’s admitted since now she’s the sole breadwinner of her family of 7 since her grandad died she would not have been making enough to even cover rent monthly had she continued focusing on ASMR. Her mom, who’s been on stream, is straight up broke white trash. She has 4 younger kid siblings and lives in a 4bedroom house. One is for her brother, one is for her grandmother previously grandparents, one is her mom and youngest sibling and the other is her and her two preteen sisters. One of them only lives there 50% of the time.
She seethes about it constantly and consistently and has ever since 2017. She’s hoping to buy the house since they rent it and renovate the garage into a bedroom for herself.
