Talents left the company, became miserable.
A different group of talents left from another company, became happy later on.
Why is there such a contrast between the two companies, /vt/?

Lulu is happy because she isn't a menhera unlike the other talents from the other company anon.
That is why this comparison isn't fair, the companies have little to do with it.

Lulu (and now Unou) is the perfect vtuber, she has been streaming for the past 9 hours ice climber, with absolutely no difference

>> No.38289720

>>38282772
it's a difference of why they left, not where they left from
Most ex-Holo got forced out due to circumstances, which is why they're sad.
Most ex-Niji left of their own will to do other things, which is why they're happy.
Notably, Sana and Kaoru seem happy now, while Gibara is still a menhera, so there are counterexamples on both sides.

she got a l2d model this year, she's more or less the same. less loud since one of the main reason she left was because she got tired of playing the persona she created as gibara as the fans expected

NTA but
If someone makes a vagueposting OP comparing two companies, it's obvious which two companies they're talking about because All Out War (TM)
Then you consider that picrel is one of the talents in question, and consider the story of what happened to her, and fill in the blanks from there.
It's really not worth it, though. Seriously, just stick to the generals and leave the schizos to rot in their own shit.

Nta, but if you've been on this board long enough, it's kind of obvious. Nijisanji's graduations have become a meme even on JP twitter, Hololive's graduations are few but well-known, so everyone that watches vtubers knows about those too.

by not being new

>> No.38305417

I realize this is probably bait, but even so, for the benefit of anyone who isn't up to speed...
Nijisanji:
>don't have to work full-time and little to no streaming requirements
>related to above, company only cares about you if you incline
>ACCELERATE, a policy specifically meant to boost the company as a whole and that obviously puts pressure on existing talents.
Hololive:
>focuses on having fewer vtubers, but putting them all in the spotlight
>pays a salary and does more than just keychains for merch
>also has tougher streaming requirements (at least in the first year) and more restrictions (like the box) to maintain the brand image

The two corpos have different focuses. Staying neutral on which is better, there are things about both that could make someone unhappy in both, but the way Hololive works, the kind of people who don't like working for Hololive are *less* likely to end up there, while people at Nijisanji are more likely to be unhappy.
Nijisanji probably doesn't work that hard on merch for less successful members on the idea that if you're part-time, you're less likely to incline--except we know that inclines are partly based on luck. They don't really care if one streamer can't stream, so someone like Lulu being forced to stop streaming is no big deal to them. And they don't really care if someone graduates because ACCELERATE means they're replaceable.
Meanwhile, the people in Hololive know these requirements and mostly follow them knowing how it works, but those benefits come with more restrictions and it's easier to have to leave because of problems maintaining the brand image (voluntarily or not).
>inb4 "HoloEN"
Yeah, I know HoloEN has been doing shit at maintaining the brand image. I don't think it's a coincidence that the one HoloEN who's graduated seems perfectly happy now. I wouldn't be surprised if future HoloEN graduates buck the trend of being "miserable" after graduation, too.

>box
part of the box restriction is to force the talent to be entertaining on their own without relying on others. I think it's a good thing.

>> No.38307122

>>38282772
There is at least one example of an ex-Niji becoming happy after joining Hololive. It's mostly just circumstance, as more people leave Niji willingly to pursue other opportunities while fewer willingly give up the golden goose at Hololive.
