Roa used to have her own gobi that she created for her character. Think of it as her own version of Pekora's "Peko". Then a niji named Meiro debuted who had a history of plajarism and she basically copied it. Roa was upset and asked to talk to Meiro about it but Meiro freaked out, acused her of power harassment, and turned in her resignation, but took it back a day later.
Because Roa had always been shy, and because she didn't have that many friends, Meiro convinced a lot of the other Niji members that she was being bullied and they turned against Roa. When it was finally revealed that Meiro was a menhera liar, it was too late and Roa was constantly being targeted by antis which prevented her from streaming. Meiro meanwhile, tried to leverage her resignation again but this time Nijisanji accepted her letter. When she attempted to rescind it a second time, Nijisanji refused.

Roa has been in this limbo state ever since where a bunch of people want her to come back and many of the livers have apologized, but she's also currently fighting a court case over this incident against a drama tuber and she feels like she can't come back. It's been around 3 years since this happened.

The reason why the drama tuber is involved is because before she attempted to resign the second time, Meiro secretly leaked a bunch of conversations and documents to a drama tuber named Narukami. Narukami published a video targeting Roa using Meiro's leak, but it later turned out to be only part of their conversation, the whole of which exonerated Roa and painted Meiro as the one at fault.
